Help with my mean teacher?

ok, so today i accidentally dropped hand sanitizer on the girl's paper during cl. she told on me, and my teacher said i had to clean the WHOLE clroom during recess for 2 days. im only in 6th grade. do u think this is fair? i dont. He wouldnt even let me explain what happened! what should i say to him tomorrow? should i do it or not?
