How reliable is a honda with a JDM motor swap?

If anything the JDM motor would be more reliable. in Japan, it is ilegal to keep your same motor when it reaches about 60k miles due to strict emission laws. so the owners sell the car for a new one, or swap the motor, then either way they import the motor because it can no longer be used in japan.
