I'm 16, 88 pounds, 5'0 and declared anorexic and was also diagnosed with an eating disorder. I try to eat without counting calories but every time I do I freak out about weight gain. I eat over 1400 calories a day and exercise every day for an hour. I do interval training. I run at 20 minutes at 6.0 mph. Then walk at 4.0 on an incline of 7. Then run for 10 minutes at 6.0 mph. Then walk for 5 minutes at 4.0 on an incline of 7. Then walk at 5 minutes at an incline of 10. Everyone tells me to just eat but there is more psychological problems. I connect beauty with thin. To me, if I'm not thin, i'm fat and imperfect. I do have a therapist and a nutritionist but haven't been listening to my eating plan that she gave me in the fear of gaining weight. She said I have to gain some weight. However, i'm scared to death. I don't know what to do. I haven't been eating right. I eat 1400 calories of sweets and junk every day. That's it. I don't wanna die but I also don't wanna get fat. HELP? :(

It sounds like you wired the light direct. The hot wire from the breaker needs to be pigtailed so that it can be run to the switch and outlet. The outlet should be hot all the time while the switch is an interruption of the power from the panel to the light. One side of the switch should be hot while the other should go to the switch. When you throw the switch, the light will come on. The outlet on the other hand should be hot all the time so the one side should be hot all the time. Try pulling out all the wires and spreading them, turn on the breaker, be careful not to touch the wires but test them to see which are hot and which are not. The one that is not hot is probably the one that goes to the light. When you figure out which is which, turn the breaker off and wire the switch/outlet accordingly.

Changing aquarium filter?

How to train my budgie?

I got a male budgie just yesterday and started its training right away. At first I just started talking to it softly and played it some music, made eye contact... Then I let it get used to the cage after it got over its first fright. But it wouldn't move or explore the cage. A few hours of being with him and I decided to go on to the next step. Slowly, I opened the cage and put my hand in (I didn't touch him). I expected him to fly around and panic because I just got him, but he would just stay still. I'm not sure if it was because he was paralyzed out of fear, or because hes already gotten used to me. So I tried to gain his trust for the rest of the day and basically nothing happend. He was still in the exact same spot. This morning he was still in the same spot, and not a peep out of him from the moment he entered the cage, so i sang to him. Today after school, though, he was finally on another perch, his feathers were puffed up and i saw he had eaten some of the millet i left out for him. His cuttlebown was untouched and same with his food dish and im pretty sure his water dish too. So I continued his training. I put my hand in the cage, he seemed undisturbed, so I took a small perch and slowly moved it towards him. He was eyeing it warily, but when i gently pressed it against his abdomen. Nothing at first... he kinda shuffled away from it. I tried again later, saying "up". First one foot went up. And even later, both feet went up. I had some trouble getting him down though. I wanted to see if he would get up on my finger, but that would be taking it kinda fast... He put one foot up on it though! So finally I managed to get him down. Sang to him, talked to him. But still, he hasn't made any noise. Okay well this is a long story, so if you've gotten till here then maybe you're interested enough to answer my question. I just want to know what's the next step. Should I just keep repeating this every day? When should I take him out of the cage? I need the whole story please. And is it likely I will teach him to say a few things? I mean he hasnt made any noises... does that mean he's unhappy? How should I train him to talk (if I can)? Im sure he can make noise because on the trip from the pet store he was making these loud fweeping noises. I think he was calling to his flock or something. 3 more questions so bare with me... Well I need to know a good name for him. (hes a blue regular budgie if that helps). And a few creative phrases tha I can (hopefully) teach him. Third question...what was it? Oh yea... I bought him some grit and later realizes that he doesn't need it. So can I still feed it to him? Are there any benefits of doing so? It has charcoal and oyster shells mixed into it. Need help opening MS Home Publishing (from ME) on current Vista computer.?

My old computer ran on Millenium Edition and had the Home Publishing suite, which I used to create all of my business flyers, brochures, etc. My new computer has Vista Home Premium and cannot read the Home Publishing discs. So really, two questions. One, does anyone know of a way I can get the Home Premium to read those old Home Publishing discs, so I can continue to create and edit my brochures on my new computer? Two, does anyone know of a program I can download onto the Vista computer that will allow it to open and read those PHP and DOC files that were made on the old computer. I have been living in a basement apartment for the past 8 months, during which a pipe broke, causing waterfalls around my place, the circuit breaker is a 100 amp breaker running a three story house that has a leak coming in from the outside of the house, the landlord knew about this before I moved in as it's the second time that the breaker itself was replaced due to water corrosion, there was a mold spot coming from above the boiler room door( which just so happens to be made out of wood), which he painted over before I moved in instead of removing the affected area. I have animals that could get sick from inhaling the mold as well as myself and my girlfriend. I refused to pay him rent this past month because the same pipe broke... again, spraying copious amounts of water all over the bedroom floor and section of the apartment between the bathroom and the boiler room causing the floor to swell, as well as causing the floor to swell in the upstairs apartment, I fixed this with a D-Clamp. He knew about fixing the pipe from the first time that it burst, because I had asked him to fix it the proper way to begin with, which he refused to do and took the cheap way out by simply cutting and patching the pipe. Had the problem been fixed I would not have withheld rent to him, however it's not and now I have a GAPING hole in my ceiling, it's been like this for months, basically since I moved in. Now today, the heat shut off, because of the breaker box that he didn't properly fix....... and he told me that if i refused to pay rent this month that he would kick me out at the end of the month.... is there any legal recourse that i can take towards the eviction?

I am sure that life will always be a mix of good, bad, and everything in between. I am sure that humans will fail me from time to time, and I will fail others from time to time. I am also sure that humans will exceed my expectations occasionally and I will exceed my hopes for myself once in awhile. I am certain that I will always love my son, no matter what. I am sure that I love my friends and am lucky to have them. I know that I will always love the feel of the sun on my skin, being out in nature, pursuing my many interests, learning, and helping my fellow humans and other living creatures when and where I can. I am also very sure that I will sometimes have "low-level immature responses" just as every other human being, regardless of belief/philosophy will. I am sure that my life is not all that different from the lives of believers since a) I once was a believer myself and b) I know, as do most of us, many believers. I am sure that my life will end, just as every other life before me has ended and just as every life that currently exists along with me will end. I am sure that this life is very important because it is all we know for certain exists. If there is any kind of life after this we can deal with that when we get there. If there is not and we have spent this life preparing for what does not exist... well, what a waste of the one life we do have. I am certain that many believers fear to let go of belief for they feel they will lose a sense of purpose and meaning. I am equally sure that life has purpose and meaning regardless of religious belief for we bring meaning to our lives and do not need to have meaning handed to us. We can choose to create meaning and purpose. We can choose to have internal guidance rather than some 2000+ year old external guide. I am absoultely sure that believers and atheists have much more in common than they have differences, but that the differences that do exist tend to blind us to our human commonalities. I know that what many Christians claim to be "Christian values" are often values that belong to all of us and that Christians did not create them. Love of friends, family, and the urge to do good, however one defines "good", are common human characteristics. I am certain that we are all a mix of what we call good and what we call bad. I am sure that if there was an all loving God worthy of our love, He would not be nearly as petty as most believers make Him out to be. No God worthy of the name could possibly punish us eternally for things we cannot begin to understand. And I am quite sure that most Christians on here will reject most or all of my answer. :)

Where can I find vegetarian walking/hiking shoes?

I need some shoes that are suitable for fell walking. I'm a vegan so they need to be non leather but also waterproof/gore-tex. I currently have some trail running shoes from synthetic materials which are perfect as they are really comfy with good grip on the soles but they are mainly mesh and so they let in both rain and water when the ground is wet and soft. I drive an 86' Honda Prelude. I recently replaced the alternator, external regulator, and battery in my car. The car ran fine for 2 days then on the 3rd day when I went to drive my car wouldn't start. I got a jump and it ran fine. I even let it idle for 20 mins. to charge the battery. Early this morning when I headed out to work, the car wouldn't turn over. I needed another jump. I had to jump my car to make it home also. If I get a charge, drive, then shut it off, then turn the key right after, the car will start. If I leave my car off for more than a few hours then my car won't start. What is going on with my car? I need answers I'm tired of jumping my car.

It depends if your hair is really curly in the front. If it is, then you could straighten it and then curl it. Or you could just run the straightening iron over the front pieces until they are wavy, not completely straight. The just grab the back and put it up into a messy bun. You can do those different ways. Gather up your hair and twist into a bun, secure with bobby pins. Then just try to tease out some of the hair near your scalp, and make sure that you have a nice side part or something. If your hair isn't really curly in the front then you won't have to do much to it. Hope this helped :)

My cousin has two boston terriors. She LOVED to play with them and take them to parks and do lots of fun stuff with them, but ever since her husband died, she hasnt been taking care of them. She lives with her mom and her mom doesnt want the dogs inside the house. So the dogs sleep outside. Its been like three years her husband died. And every time i go to my aunts house, i ALWAYS see the dogs in a kennel. They can barely move. And when someone pes by the kennels, the dogs just start to shake and cry and i feel so bad. And right know, its freezing outside and all the have is a blanket to cover the cage. Just one. and they only get out of thier cage lke 3 times a day. And they only have like about 10 minutes to pee and poop in the backyard. One day i look inside the kennel, and there was like a big puddle of pee inside and the poor dog was just lieing ontop of the pee. I was keep telling my mom that i was going to call animal cruelty because i am sick and tired of seeing those poor innocent dogs just freezing to death and being in a kennel for hours and hours. I just cant stand to see that. They SMELL really bad. I just feel like stealing the dogs and keep them. I dont care if she my cousin, what shes doing is animal cruelty. PLEASE HELP...ttc with irregular periods?

My periods were extremely irregular when i was younger, but gradually became on a consistent 28-30 day cycle. But, ever since my husband and I started ttc in November, they've become irregular again. Since January my cycles have been 33 days, 36 days, 48 days and i'm currently on day 37. I desperately want a baby, and perhaps that's why my period is acting up-because of stress? My mother really wants me to see a doctor, and I know should, but i'm scared. I'm scared of hearing an answer I don't want to hear. I just started a dietary supplement a couple weeks ago called fertilaid. I've been getting some dull cramps here and there the past couple days, hopefully it's my period on it's way. Advanced Driving on a 5spd, need help?

So. A few questions. Firstly, speed shifting. My friend did it today. When he was driving, he mentioned shifting without touching the clutch. Except I didn't believe him and wasn't letting it happen on my prelude. But he did it on my bronco, and he got her pulling HARD. What exactly is it, how do you do it, any thing it damages, and why don't racers use this manuever? He told me to do somr research and here I go. Also, question about a sensitive throttle. I find starting my prelude in 2nd is much easier and harder to stall in. But can you stall if your in too high of a gear and you aren't giving it gas? I've never really felt like trying it. Lol

I put in 5 quarts like the manual says. It shows that im 3/4 inch over the full mark. How can this be. I changed the oil filter that is almost 1/2 the size of the previous but is correct filter according to autozone. the car is a 1990 ford bronco 2 bought it 4 months ago, has 125k miles. Well you ALWAYS have a right to request a nurse or someone else be present if you're uncomfortable with the doctor you're seeing. I know my OB had a male resident working for her and when she was out of town, he had to do my exam, so I requested a nurse be present because I really don't want any man other than my husband down there. I understand how uncomfortable it is. I'm not sure about delivery though. I would definitely bring it up with your doc at your next appointment and let her know about your feelings. She should try to accomodate you as best as she can, but once you go into labor, they can't sit around waiting for a female doctor to deliver. There may not be time for that and if the only on call doc is a male, it just may have to be that way. Like I said, I'm not sure how that works, just giving my opinion. Definitely bring it up at your next appt though. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

I've worked in Kuwait before. It's a harsh enviornment over there, with daytime summer temps climbing over 140 degrees farenheit. Nothing but sand.....although the Kuwaitis do have some money, most of them aren't as rich as people think. They're not the easiest people to work for or with either. Very true, the minimized role in the film did take away from most of the symbolism, but the fact that forgetting his watch is the reason that he no longer perceives time as we do is pretty heavy in it's own right. Also, the name of the book wasn't really referring to time (although that was a theme in the story) it refers to the characters, and how before the story that's what they were called. (this was implied, never stated) Another theme of the series was "Who Watches The Watchmen?" which WAS stated in the story, about how they'd gone from heroes to oppressors. My mom and then me have been renting 3 now 2 gas tanks from the same company they downsized my sons tank a few years ago saying we werent buying enough propane. I just got a letter and we have 66 percent gas in our tank and my son doesnt have any its summer not needed they sent me a letter saying i can either buy the tanks or they are picking them up that leaves my son no heat no cooking and me i am in bad health with 2 open heart surgeries an i have diabetes and vascultis and also neuropathy and they take my gas tank i have no way to cook or eat or nothing.
