Is Ethanol a good alternative to Oil?

The reason corn is mentioned is because we already have corn crops but Obama is not being progressive enough, the Saturn EV was a good start but they removed the car from the market we need to think no gas stations, no fueling. The oil companies just want to milk the oil as long as they can. Switch gr would be better then corn but we still don`t have enough land to grow it to replace oil use.
