If an alligator and a shark were to get in to a fight, who will win?

Not sure about alligators, but I do know that crocodiles and sharks "fight" in the same waters. There is no decisive answer as both are capable of killing the other. The croc has a slight advantage of being able to handle shallow water better than the shark.
