I asked a question 2 months ago, someone gave me this answer...why?

It sounds like the person did not read your question properly and only made the comments to get 2 points. I would not worry about people like that on this site, some users just make a game out of annoying other users. Best to just ignore them and carry on enjoying yourself on this site.
